Egbe Obayori Okunrin Asiwaju Akile Ijebu Warms Up For 2022 Ojude Oba

The members of this group were those that falls within the age range. That is, born between January 1977 - December 1979. under the leadership of Giwa, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the current Chairman, Ikosi-Ejirin LCDA.
On Sunday, 19th August 2018, the group received their Royal Blessing/Traditional Recognition from His Royal Highness, the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land.
Since then, the group has been getting recognition at the annual celebration of Ojude Oba Festival.
This yearly event comes up every 3rd day after Sallah celebration. This is the only day that all the age-grade groups in Ijebu Ode popularly known as Regberegbe comes together to pay homemage to the Royal Highness Oba Sikiru Adetona.
This year's annual festival will be the 1st after the noble Covid-19 denied the people of Ijebu land the celebration twice in 2019 and 2020.
The Giwa of Obayori Okunrin Asiwaju Akile Ijebu, Hon. Akogun Wale Anomo and the planning committe are working tirelessness to make this year festival more memorable and colourful.
The 2022 Ojude Oba planning committe are also making arrangements for "Ikokore Night" on Ojude Oba eve at Itale Market Junction in Ijebu-Ode with alot of fun which is being sponsored by another strong member of the Egbe in person of Aare Francis Adeoye (Giwa Egbe Obayori Okunrin Awa Ijebu).
The entertainment of the guests will come up immediately after the palace appearance at Bishop Saliu Sanusi Hall, St. Sebastian Catholic Cathedral Odoegbo Ijebu Ode.
The Egbe is also supported by the Board of trustees some of which are Baba Egbe Hon. Ademorin Kuye who is a member of the Federal House of Representatives and Iya Egbe who happened to be Chief (Mrs.) Morohunkeji Atoyegbe, a Fabric Merchant and the CEO of the Glory Stores Fabric in Lagos State is on standby to make sure the celebration is successful.
The members of the restructuring and planning committee of the festival comprises of Honourable Akogun Wale Raji Anomo (Giwa), Otun-Giwa Kuku Ayodeji Kolade, Yori Comrade Talabi Omotola Hakeem, Akinrogun Oluwasesan Ogunkoya, Aare Francis Adeoye-Are, Bashorun Oludaisi Yusuf, Olu omo Tijani Quadri Oyeniyi, Obalofin Babajide Odusanya
